Can you help with any of these?

Looking for HARDYs that lived downtown Toronto, Ont, Can from late 1800s to current day. Several HARDYs worked at the GOODERHAM Distillery. David Alexander HARDY (Dooney) 1877-1940 was a pitcher for Chicago in 1902-1903. Several marriages were at the Trinity Church in Toronto. A Hardy Researcher

I was in Isle of Wight at the courthouse again trying to find Richard Hardy (supposedly a brother of Capt George Hardy). No luck. Does anyone have info on how to find "The Hardy Family in America, Vol I, II, and III" by John A Hardy? I could find only Georges, Richards (not mine) and Thomases at I of W, so don't know where to turn. I have "Old Free State" by Landon Bell, but have been told it is not reliable when it gets back the the 1700s.Joanne Fox

I'm searching for parents of ARTHUR HARDY, b.1792 Bladen Co, NC m. 12/22/1815 Bladen Co, NC to Rebecca Hester, d/o Thomas Hester. Arthur Hardy is enumerated in Bladen Co, NC 1820 census and he and Rebecca are named in her father's 1839 will. By 1850 they are in Russell Co, Al. There are no Hardys listed in the Bladen Co. 1763 - or before - tax list; however, another Arthur Hardy served in the American Revolution from Bladen Co, NC. Have you ever encountered Arthur Hardy in your research of your own Hardy family? I will gladly share any info I have and hope someone may have some clue as to Arthur Hardy's origins. Searching for any historical information on Hardys from South ARK. Specifically, the counties of Union, Colombia & Quachita. According to census records, IOLA HARDY (Black) b. 1849-1850 ARK m. Harrison Howard, (Mulatto) The 1880 census lists them as 30 yrs old. Apparently, during the 1870 census, Harrison moved from Columbia Co to Union Co, ARK & elected to use Hardy as a last name, along with all 12 of their children. According to 1880 census, Iola Hardy's folks came from VA & KY. Any ARK connection would be helpful & appreciated. Thanks, Doug

This is a query about JASON HARDY b. l823 Chester or Sandown, NH, s/o Peter Hardy Jr & Nancy Hunt. He is shown in the l850 census in Lawrence, MS with wife Mary R. (another source said Rosita (could it be Maria Rosita?) and a daughter (very young) Ella. Some of his siblings had settled in Lowell, MA and Lima, NY.
