Samson Sutton purchased 80 acres of land in Richland Co, Wisc, at the Federal Government land office at Lacross, Wisc, on 2/20/1857.
Aaron Sutton, his brother, purchased 40 acres at the same time and place. Then he purchased another 40 acres in Richland Co, also at the land office in LaCross 7/1/1859. In the 1860 Census Aaron was listed as living in Bloom Twp, Richland Co, Wisc, so I assume the land was in Bloom Twp, although the land records do not give the township. (Mary Lou Hermiller)
