I am searching for info about my gr grandparents: CALVIN PHILLIPS b 1820/1830 NC or SC m.1849 Washington Co, AR to RACHAEL REDDICK. He came to NE AR bef 1849. He is listed in land records and census records from 1850 - aft 1870 in Benton Co, AR. He was a farmer and blacksmith. CALVIN and RACHAEL PHILLIPS had eight children: James (1850), Millie (1853), George (1855), William (1858), Alcy (1861), Jefferson Davis (1864), John Wesley (1868)[my grfather], and Joseph (1871). I am interested in identifying the parents of CALVIN PHILLIPS and RACHAEL REDDICK. I am also interested in hearing from others who may have links to this family. There are clues that CALVIN's full name may have been JOHN CALVIN PHILLIPS, or CALVIN JOHN PHILLIPS. Thank you. Dalton R (Ray) Phillips

JEMIMA HARDY, both b. c1775-80. Jemima Hardy is the grdaughter of JOHN PHILLIPS who left that long will in Craven County at the end of the 1700s. Mary Jane Phillips-Matz
